Introducing the BENEV Scientific Advisory Board
BENEV is dedicated to producing the most effective skin care solutions based on the latest scientific research in skin health. The establishment of an advisory board of research scientists is another step forward in this commitment. Working with our resident BENEV scientists, the board will issue recommendations for research directions, ingredients, formulas, and protocols.
BENEV Scientific Advisory Board Members
Richard C. Jin, M.D.
Dr. Jim earned his M.D. from the Boston University School of Medicine. His research interests include cardiovascular disease, antioxidant enzyme properties, cell signaling, cellular redox mechanisms, free radical induced oxidant stress, and mechanisms of atherosclerosis. Currently, he holds a position as a graduate research student at Harvard Medical School Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Department of Medicine, Cardiovascular Laboratory. Dr. Jin is also a research associate for BENEV Company Inc. Previously, he worked at the Boston University School of Medicine Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute as a graduate research student and as a research associate at Zymo Research Inc. Dr. Jin has recently published articles in Stroke and Microcirculation.
Christopher Dannaker, M.D.
Dr. Dannaker is an Assistant Professor of Medicine/Dermatology, at the University of California, San Francisco, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Royal Society of Medicine. His private medical practice of laser and aesthetic dermatology is located in Monterey and Beverly Hills, California. He completed his first residency training at the University of Michigan, where he also earned an M.P.H. degree in occupational health. His training in dermatology was completed at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Dannaker completed an overseas fellowship at the world renowned Institute of Dermatology, St. John’s Hospital for Diseases of the Skin in London.
