All About Exosomes
Exosomes were first discovered over 30 years ago in 1983, in an immature red blood cell by Philip Stahl, PhD and Rose Johnstone, FRSC, PhD. Since then, exosome research has quadrupled as scientists further examine and research what these tiny (yet impactful) particles are capable of. Exosomes are extracellular membrane vesicles, and they are significant contributors to intercellular communication; they facilitate the exchange of RNA and other vital proteins from cell-to-cell, and transfer abundant growth and genetic factors which have been proven to repair tissue and improve skin cells. With respect to BENEV Exosome Regenerative Complex (ERC) and Exosome Regenerative Complex + (ERC+), we have harnessed the power of these “data-coding avatars” to produce a high-performing line of exosome products that promote a more radiant, youthful appearance and enhanced treatment outcomes.
