Using BENEV ExoBalm in Your Everyday Practice

Introducing BENEV ExoBalm For the newest regenerative product to join BENEV’s line of functional aesthetic commodities, we have Diane Duncan, MD, FACS to thank for it. Dr. Duncan is globally recognized as an award-winning plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Throughout her career, her driving philosophy has always been to provide patients with affordable, minimal downtime procedures—and BENEV ExoBalm does just that.
The original BENEV Exosome Regenerative Complexes (ERC and ERC+) were intentionally designed for practitioners as a way to build upon their existing treatment menu by offering their patients an optional aftercare regimen. ERC and ERC+ are potent with restorative growth factors, coenzymes, peptides, amino acids, vitamins and minerals. While BENEV ExoBalm contains similar regenerative properties, the ExoBalm allows patients to bring their post-treatment exosomes home with them.
Without going into the full breakdown on how Dr. Duncan developed ExoBalm, the essence of it is this: she combined the BENEV ERC formula with squalane and lipids, and upon application to her patient, Lisa—who was suffering from severe burns caused by radiation therapy—the ExoBalm immediately relieved sensations of pain and burning, even before its full development.

Mixing and Application Protocols: A Recipe for Success
There are a few additional steps and ingredients necessary for formulating the BENEV ExoBalm in-office. The complete key ingredients include BENEV Exosome Regenerative Complex or Exosome Regenerative Complex+, Aquaphor®, sterile saline, BENEV Pure Squalane, and BENEV Essential Lipids.
By combining all of these together in a small bowl using a mixing tool (E.g., tongue depressor) and a dropper or syringe, as well as 3-5 small twist cap jars for storage, your patients’ rejuvenating ExoBalm will be ready for application faster than they can say “BENEV.” We recommend that aesthetic patients use their at-home ExoBalm solution twice a day for at least three to five days, while storing any remaining product in the refrigerator until it is time for their next application. Depending on the treatment they received, patients’ post-care regimen can range from a light, mild, or aggressive approach with regards to how often they apply ERC, ERC+ and/or BENEV ExoBalm.
Now offering three exosomes-based products to choose from, BENEV offers the Trifecta for Recovery, so to speak, that benefits practitioners and patients. Aesthetic patients are offered faster recovery, cutting their downtime in half or completely eliminating it from the equation; aesthetic practitioners are able to provide their clients with advanced in-office treatments and aftercare proven to enhance patients’ results.

“Having a treatment offering like the BENEV Exosomes allows me to easily incorporate that into every single treatment… I am going to get a better result [and] patients are going to be happy… It’s kind of a no-brainer.”
JD McCoy, NMD

Tips for Using ExoBalm in Your Office
In our preparation for the new year, we made a list of our predicted medical aesthetics trends, and included in that list was the idea of “punch card procedures,” specifically for regenerative post treatment care. When it comes to overall skin rejuvenation, exosomes have greatly surpassed platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in terms of popularity… and perhaps even efficacy. With up to triple the potency of PRP and six times the neocollagenesis compared to other topical agents, BENEV Exosomes are the ideal choice for wholly elevating the post procedure experience.
A great incentive for encouraging patients to add these regenerative benefits to their treatments is by the punch card method. For example, your aesthetic practice may offer 20 BENEV Exosome add-ons upfront, to be redeemed by or during any select time period. Whenever patients undergo radiofrequency microneedling (RFMN), chemical peels, or non-ablative laser treatments (to name a few), they may add ERC, ERC+ or BENEV ExoBalm afterwards for improved downtime and overall skin revitalization.
Of course, there are plenty of other plausible specials and promos that can be used to entice patients to use exosomes to their advantage. “Purchase X treatment sessions for X% off on aftercare! Join our Skin Regeneration Membership and get X ExoBalms FREE! Discover the best skin you’ve ever been in with X ExoBalm applications!” You know the likes of it.

The bottom line is: Exosomes are the next big thing in the world of functional aesthetics and regenerative medicine. Practitioners and patients love exosomes for all the same reasons, all of which offer their own unique benefits to each party—and in the extraordinary world of exosomes, BENEV is the only way to go.
